Anna Barie - Performer / Writer

For roughly a decade, Anna has traveled the world as a musician and performed everywhere from a sushi restaurant in Richmond, in front of a Beijing train station, on top of someone's kitchen counter, in churches, countless punk basements, lofts, squats, communes, in a parking lot under New York City's abandoned high line railroad, and galleries, festivals and art museums such as MoMA, the Whitney Museum, Issue Project Room and MoMA PS 1.

She believes that music is transcendent and unifying, and strives for humor, community and dialogue as a performer.
Anna is currently a member of the electronic group DUBAI, and formerly of the band These Are Powers. She is featured in the forthcoming DIY music documentary
Parallel Planes, and is a "Grossette" on the Emmy nominated children's television show Gross World.
